The Beginning

It all started with the founder of the company, Fred Waring. In 1937, he introduced the Miracle Mixer to the world and established the Waring Corporation. The company continued to expand the blender lines to include an array of colors, solid-state controls, and food preparation attachments. In 1950, Dr. Jonas Salk developed a lifesaving polio vaccine using a Waring Blendor with an aseptic dispersal container, which gave the company further prominence.

Continued Innovation

Innovative designs and engineering breakthroughs were the driving factors behind the company's next leg of growth. Waring expanded its product line and purchased a 72,000-square-foot facility in McConnellsburg, PA, which is still used for building the blender line. In 1998, Waring was acquired by Conair Corp., the number one blender brand in top-quality small appliances. The brand introduced new products, including deep fryers and food slicers. Waring introduced the commercial-style rotating waffle maker in 2003 and the powerful 3.5 peak HP Blender series in 2010.
